Alfredo PraticòAlfredo Praticò is student at St. Antony's College, studying for an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Interventions and Policy Evaluation. His research focuses on gun violence prevention in the United States. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he graduated summa cum laude in three years from the University of Pennsylvania as part of the class of 2022. While in Philadelphia, Alfredo served as the chair of the Philadelphia Youth Commission, a government body which advises elected officials on youth policy. As part of his work on the Commission, Alfredo advocated for more anti-violence interventions, better funding for public schools, and a change to the city's curfew laws. At Oxford, Alfredo rows for the St. Antony's Boat Club and is an officer on the GCR (student government).
