GIR 2026 VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
Inequalities in Fragile Contexts
As societies confront war and conflict, public health crises, climate change, strained education systems, the care crisis, and the rapid expansion of AI, existing inequalities are often intensified while new forms of exclusion and vulnerability emerge.
The Graduate Inequality Review (GIR) invites students, early-career researchers, and practitioners from around the world to join its 2026 virtual conference: Inequalities in Fragile Contexts. The conference seeks to foster timely and interdisciplinary discussions on how inequalities are produced, experienced, and challenged within socially, politically, economically, and environmentally fragile environments.
The half-day virtual conference will feature research presentations, expert panel discussions, and a keynote address, offering an opportunity for emerging scholars to present their work to an international audience.
We are pleased to partner with the Oxford University Press in this endeavour.
Join us on 3 July 2026, 11:00am–4:00pm BST on Microsoft Teams.
