Emilie Dellon is a Masters student in Sociology at the University of Oxford, where her work is significantly informed by her experiences advancing gender equality through sports at UNESCO. This involvement has profoundly deepened her interest in exploring gender inequality, particularly within cultural spheres like the French rap scene, where she investigates the dual roles of cultural representation in both perpetuating and challenging gender norms. Prior to her time at Oxford, Emilie completed her bachelor’s degree in Human, Social, and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge, setting a solid foundation for her current research endeavors.
