María-José Gómez-Ruiz

María-José Gómez-Ruiz is a DPhil candidate in Politics (Political Theory) at the Department of Politics and International Relations and Kellogg College, Oxford. For her thesis she is developing a normative framework to account for inequalities on the opportunity to run for office and assess their impact on democracy. María-José holds an MLitt in Politics form Merton College, Oxford and an MPhil in Philosophy from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge She has worked for more than10 years in Higher Education in her natal Guadalajara, Mexico and collaborated with NGO's and think thanks in Mexico and abroad.
